COLEMAN MINI BIKE B200R
I have links to Amazon parts that fit on this bike as shown on the bottom of this page. I've installed the 18lb valve springs with no issues. I've changed the carb and rejet to a 95 main jet at about 1,600ft elevation. The emulsion tube that is pictured with the three holes would not work good on this bike. It was really bogging out on throttle blip. I kept the 5 hole emulsion tube for now. The bike just ran better. Maybe when i put on aftermarket exhaust that i may need to readjust. This is with the aftermarket air filter assembly installed and OEM exhaust. The original main jet was a 72 and with the aftermarket air filter installed, the bike ran lousily. it bogged out allot. The 95 main jet seems about right. Now, this setup had a bad vapor lock on the gas tank. The bike would run fine at startup. But, about a 1/4 mile down the road it would just die. It would restart eventually but was a problem to solve. I have since taken the little air filter off and keep the black hose high above the tank. After it would die, it had very little gas in the bowl below the float. The hour/rpm meter seems to work great. Gives me a better idea what the motor is doing. Factory idle says 1560rpm with a max RPM of about 3,600rpm at 11Nm of torque. I've adjusted but not removed the governor at this point the new Coleman is maxing out at 41mph at an average 3800 rpm. Not bad. I don't intend on ridding it that hard at all but for testing purposes for now. Update......I have removed the governor and replaced the flywheel and added the ARC billet rod. The motor bracket fit very well and still gave clearance to the factory exhaust if still wanting to use it. There was an issue with the chain guard being too low (after installing the torque converter) to the chain and the chain occasionally slapped the guard. I repositioned the front bracket by bending it up and mounting the chain guard on top of the bracket for more clearance. Then I 3d printed the ABS top cover with the B200R insignia. I also, made my own rear plate and brackets to fit the Walmart bag. So, everything is good right now. Yes, these bikes have a 17 number VIN to get them titled! Just contact Coleman to get the MSO certificate and have it filled out by your place of purchase. Update....I got the bike titled without issues and added a LED tail light, battery and LED headlamp. See the pics and video below after leaving the headlamp on for 8 hrs on the 12v battery install. I also changed out the flywheel and so I lost the charging circuit while doing that. My biggest hang up was the vapor lock (gas not getting to the carb) and after fixing that its been one beast of a Mini!
Added bag mount using a double thick plywood glued together and painted black. Was laser cut for a good fit. Bag purchased at Walmart.
